Birthday Cake Chall

Diana from BBTB2 has challenged us to a Birthday Cake Challenge -- so desperate for a cake image, I was so happy to find one on Simply Charmed. It really isn't my style, but that the fun part of challenges -- getting you to create something that you normally wouldn't. I honestly didn't think I was into cutesy cuts, but I think that I just changed my mind! 

Pretty as a Peacock

This week Caroline challenged us on the BBTB2 DT to use a bird on your card or project, and with this past chall from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, I figured why not combine the two? I used the cricut French Manor diecut for the peacock and some peacock patterned glitter paper. I also used up the scraps for the background -- just cut up leftovers from the cricut diecuts into strips and glued them down.

Easter Project Challenge from BBTB2 DT

Here is this week's Easter Project Challenge from BBTB2: Show us what you made with your cricut! 

I used the Easter cart, still a good one for fun projects. I cut the basket and decorated with spring bunnies, a lamb, and flowers. It is filled with Easter treats for the adults who don't go Easter egg hunting.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge # 49

I went with a retro style for this card. I love fun, bright colors...and this card was perfect for that. 

I used Groovy Time Cricut Cartridge for the flowers, smily face and sentiment.

The paper is DCWV Hippie Chic.
