Kinda Contraband for my SSINK Challenge

Today is "Contraband Day" at SSINK -- and I kinda followed the rules. You would think that when I could use ANYTHING from my scrap stash that I wouldn't use any Stampin' Up! But no -- so in love with the ornament dies that I used my scrap stash, My Mind's Eye, with it. And a cricut cut branch to hang the ornaments from. And the ribbon is SU too -- but retired. Love love love that ribbon.

Stlyin' Stampin' INKspiration December Challenge

Today's Stlyin' Stampin' INKspiration December Challenge has a beautiful contrast of winter colors. And I am loving the dramatic red against glittery snow white!

Welcome to the FCCB Christmas Bingo Blog Hop! Here is your Bingo card-

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! and Happy New Year! This is my Bingo Blog Hop card. I choose to do a free standing pop-up card for a "wow!" card. These are great cards as they fold flat for mailing. I did the line down on the right side.

Poinsettias are from 3d Floral Home Decor Cricut Cartridge
Snowgirl is from Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge
Snowflakes are from also from Winter Woodland

These are the instructions i used for the card. Very clear, and easy to put together.

SSINK Card Sketch

Today at SSINK,we are doing a Card Sketch challenge. So there is flexibility in the focal point, and when I saw the subtle background, I thought using the new Softly Falling Stampin Up! embossing plate would be perfect...

So I used the snow globe stamp from Sparkly Season's stamp set and fussy cut the globe out -- even though I COULD have used the circle die in the bundle set. And I didn't realize until now that my banner is the flip of the sketch banner!

SSINK Christmas Blog Hop

The SSINK December blog hop topic is Christmas! I love using Shimmery White cardstock with gold embossing, and had to with this beautiful stamp of the Holy Family. Adding Winter Wonderland DSP gave a subtle background to highlight the stamped image. I topped it off with Vanilla and more gold glitter -- Glitter Ribbon. To see the products that I used, see the end of this post.

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number 5 on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop: Leanne at Literally My Joy. If so, you are in the right spot. It's Snowing! SSINK's Snowflake Challenge

Today is SSINK's Snowflake challenge. I love snowflakes -- just not in real life while I am driving a car. I combined a few Stampin' Up! stamp and die and punch bundles for this card, embossing stamped images on white shimmer cardstock with silver and matting onto a regal purple cardstock:

Up close, you can see the shimmer in the cardstock:

Even though these colors are cold, the purple seems to warm up the icy scene. Here's the supplies that I used:
