Snowflake Sentiments Card

Finally, I can work on cards for me! With four shows finished and two more to go, I have a bit of a break. I've been dying to use the new Stampin' Up! Snowflake Sentiments Clear-Mount Bundle. It works great on the Big Shot - even the intricate cuts - I didn't even need the Precision Plate.

Here is the bundle, still available from the Holiday catalog.

It's Getting Cold Challenge

I am finally back to blogging! Been very busy with craft fairs and now since they are in full swing, I am ready for the crowds. Do have to replenish some items, but it is not as overwhelming as it has been for me.

Here is a project made for the Bitten by the Bug2 It's Getting Cold challenge. Love this snowman and the shimmer and glitter papers - and that banner was tedious to glue together, but worth the effort. The Snowman is from the Winter Frolic cartridge and the banner from When I was a Kid. My stamped sentiment fit perfectly inside the banner and I was surprised to have clean stamped lines on the textured paper. And this card - and the dozen others that I made with similar colored patterned papers - have been big sellers this year so far.

Second Craft Fair of the Season

Here's some photos from last weekend's craft fair -- four more to go this season! It was a juried fair and the vendors offered some wonderful things for sale. This year, I tried something new - vinyl ornaments that I made with the cricut - coffee, beach, pet and Christmas themed.

I used plastic ones that I bought on Amazon and Michaels. I chose plastic over glass because I don't want breakage for myself when attending vending events -- and as a customer, I prefer plastic because I have children and a dog.

The best sellers were beach and pet, with the rest getting lots of attention. All images have commercial rights - so if you make these for sale, make sure that you get the license. I got some at (just search Christmas, beach and coffee) and DesignBundles-The-Free-SVG-Bundle-V2Here's a close up of some the ornaments that I had for sale:

I sold my typical items too - cards, covered notebooks, and what's left of my reindeer food tubes from last year. I did get a repeat request for my Santa Hershey bars - so guess what I am working on this week for the fair? And picking up some test tubes for the reindeer food.
