Mother's Day Bouquet Box Card

Some designs lend themselves to more than one theme. This is a Valentine's Box Card from Lori Whitlock that works as a Mother’s Day bouquet too.

For this project, I used the following card stock:

DCS Shimmery Textured Wedding Cake 8.5x11 inch White Card Stock

Lessebo Colors HUNTER GREEN 83lb Cardstock

DCS Discount Card Stock: Textured Japanese Maple Red Card Stock

Bazzill Marble Candy Hearts Card Stock 12x12 - 1 Sheet - Closeout

I want to show you the whole page of the Marble Candy Hearts. I love the swirls and thought they blended nicely to cut flowers -- try it in your projects!

Lastly is a close-up of the teacup -- bouquets deserve bows and a card.

Tiny Teacup Box Card

This tiny Teacup Box Card is a perfect, feminine gift for a friend — or Mom — next month for Mother’s Day! You can find the SVG from SVGCuts.com and the file is Teacup Box Card.

I love the tiny details in this project — from the silver thread looping the tea bag on the front to mini flowers inside and outside the cup. Look at that gorgeous shimmer on the base of the cup!

The card stock paper for the teacup and envelope that I used is DCS Shimmery Textured Wedding Cake 8.5x11 inch White Card Stock. The reason why I chose that paper is because it is a sturdy thick paper and has a beautiful canvas teture and shimmer shine.

The other papers are from my supplies, including a glittery pink, pale yellow, metallic green, and a navy and white floral patterned paper that reminds me of Fine China.

 

For the sentiment on the back — “You are my cup of tea!” — I did a print and cut using the writing font Fudge, found in Cricut Design Space.
