Music Speaks Challenge
This week BBTB2 challenges us to a "Music Speaks" project, and I have lots of school concert pics that need to scrapped! The problem is, they are not zoomed in and close up. What's more, you can hardly see my boys as they sing with their classmates...So I used my small circle punch to make them centered in the pics...and needed more pics that I did not have...so I filled up the space with some coordinating patterned paper as filler. I have thought of getting the Quarter Note cartridge, but until one of my boys picks up an instrument, I will settle for Calendar's "concert" and note.
Head over to BBTB2 to what the talented Design Team members did for this challenge!

ReplyDeleteI love the patriotic theme. Awesome layout!! Love all the citcles!
ReplyDeleteI am so loving this layout Laura! First off I love the patriotic theme, second the design of this layout is awesome-I just love how you filled in with designer papers. Let's face it we all have these type's of concert pictures of our kids where you can hardly see them and have to take the pic from far away. You have showed us how to make a totally fabulous layout with these pics. You have certainly rocked this challenge my friend. Hugs
ReplyDeleteGenius idea with the circle punches! I have the same problem-so often my kids are lost in a sea of faces in the concert pics. I am totally going to scrap lift this idea! Love the colors too! (Quarter Note is really great if they take up an instrument, but also has some great stuff for singers.)
