Jayne from BBTB2 is challenging us all to use our circut to create unique Gift Packaging. It can be a bag, box, tag -- whatever you want! Here is mine -- a fun bday bag -- perfect for a gift card or some jewelry. I used Stamping Up Birthday wishes on the cricut-cut tag from the Old School Bags, Tags, and More. It is still a great cart to have (eventhough I just ordered the new one)! The gift bag is also cut from that cart. The stamp sentiment is from Stamping Up -- I love how crisp and clean it stamps! And the flower is a spiral blossom from Spellbinders, perfect for a gift bag.
Jarren from BBTB2 has challenged us to a School Days Challenge: Create a card or project focused on anything for school (awards day, field trips, teacher gifts, class parties, school plays or concerts, etc.). So head over to the blog and share your work with us! My apple card, which would be sweet for any teacher, is a thank you card for work. The parish youth group held a fundraiser at Applebee's and the teens are going to sign the card, so we can mail it to them. They generously offer their restaurant before hours, serving pancakes and bacon while the teens serve parishioners. The funds that are raise go toward decreased retreat costs -- a great cause! I used My World cricut cartridge and Spellbinders die cuts for the layered card base.
Emily from BBTB2 challenged us to create a project for Mother's Day, and I used Flower Shoppe to create this three dimensional card. So go to the BBTB2 blog and upload your project and tell us which cricut cart that you used. And to all the moms out there, have a wonderful Mother's Day this weekend!
