BBTB2's challenge this week is create something on your cricut with Autumn Leaves, Fall Leaves are Falling, love this time time of year! The best leaves that I found in my cricut collection are from the Scarecrow seasonal cartridge. I used gold and copper metallic paper and knew these leaves needed something more...so I took out the beloved Cuttlebug, found a great embossing folder that would give these leaves a crackled look...
And my Cuttlebug died in the middle of my project. DIED. I put my plates and embossing folder in and turned the arm and nothing rolled. I called Provocraft and they helped me troubleshoot the machine, and it looks like I have to get a replacement.
So my leaves are now slightly embossed. Making the most of what you have, right?
Oh my Laura, this is just beautiful! I love the papers you have used and I love your leaves. I'm sorry your cuttlebug broke in the middle of your project, but I can see the embossing and it looks fabulous. I am loving that frame, it is a punch around the page punch?? Love, love, love this! Hugs!

DeleteLaura, your layout is great! I love the papers you used, and your leaves still look great! Sorry about your Cuttlebug :( I have heard, though, that in a pinch you can use a rolling pin? Haven't tried it, but until your replacement comes, give it a whirl. I am excited to be on the DT with you!

Thank you ladies! If I had known that there would be a new blue Cuttlebug, I would have gotten the one that just came out yesterday....But customer service didn't tell me about it when I called last week, and I bought something new...Will tell you about it in a post soon....
