Of course I had to show you a bright and cheery fiesta-themed card for Cinco de Mayo. I made a Happy Birthday Fiesta Pop Up Card for a friend -- and she loved it! The cut file that I used is from SVGcuts.com: Box Card Kit. Of course, I could have scored and then cut a 12x12 sheet of card stock, but that would have taken me far more time to do. The time-intensive cricut die cut images are from the Ole cartridge. Each image is two inches tall - and some of those cuts are minute. I cut the sentiment in black adhesive vinyl -- using Black and White free fonts from Font Bundle "Brilliant Bundle." What a great font - and the cricut successful cut it as the distressed font it is. The number 1 was fun to make - I glued on layers of shredded cut cardstock over a cricut cut 1, following the same color pattern as the outside patterned paper. I used retired patterned papers from Stampin' Up! And of course, Stickles.
Here is a view from the top:
The outside of the card box is flat.
And it fits nicely in the envelope:
Oh my what an impressive box card. I have never tried one of these but always think they would be the best thing to receive in the mail.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is so cute!! I love all the details especially that fringed piƱata looking #1!
